about us
Stillmade Studio is Carrie's passion and run by us, Carrie and Daniel. Yes, we are a real couple that first met in 1995, became instant friends, decided to skip dating and married in 2001. Since then, we have grown old together.
We love nature and Carrie's happy place is the beach, so that works its way into most of the art she creates. We live in beautiful North Carolina, right between the mountains and the coast, and have four amazing children, despite our parenting efforts.

I have dabbled in art most of my life, but after a crippling disorder in my hand, I thought my art was done. After much therapy and Jesus, my art returned to me in the stillness of nature. I now give you tokens of that stillness to enjoy day by day.
Much of my art is inspired by nature and the peacefulness found within it. I will forever be a beach girl, but I've also found a deep connection to art inspired by the mountains. Beach, mountains, flowers, I'm here for all of it!
